Mrs. Henry Pohlmann, aunt of the bride, played traditional wedding music, and accompanied Delbert Reiss of Crete, who sang "Jesus Lead the Way" and "The Wedding Prayer." The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white nylon tulle and imported Chantilly lace over satin. The fitted bodice of lace over satin was closed down the back with tiny self-covered buttons. The neckline was scalloped, and the long sleeves came ot points at the tip of the wrists. The skirt of satin with a tulle overskirt edged with a deep band of lace fell gracefully to floor length, ending in an aisle-wide cathedral train.
Her elbow-length veil was made of pure silk imported English illusion net. Highlighted with pearls, the Queen's Crown was made of imported Swiss braid. She carried a cascade of pink roses. Serving attendants were four sisters of the bride. Mrs.
Marvin Yost of Plymouth was the maid of honor, and Mrs. Wayne Schroeder. Beatrice, Mrs. Melvin Meyer, of Plymouth, and Miss Alice a Haecker, Plymouth, were bridesmaids. Their street-length dresses were fashioned of turquoise brocaded taffeta with scooped necklines 'and bouffant skirts.
